Rose’s Bakery: Pretty Princesses.

The title might make you think strange things, but it’s time for another baking recipe! Today I’m showing you how to make chocolatey meringue-y things that are so delish, you’ll want to eat every single one in one go. You won’t need very much ingredients and it’s really fun to make something else than a cake every once in a while! ;)

What you’ll need: 

Ingredients:
-70 grams of (unsweetened) cocoa powder
-100 grams of sugar
-4 egg whites

Extra’s:
-A baking tray
-Two bowls
-A mixer
-Baking paper
-A piping bag (this one is optional, I used spoons instead)

Let’s get baking!

Step one: 
Preheat your oven to 120℃ (around 250ºF) and cover your baking tray with baking paper.

Step two: 
Mix the cacao powder and sugar together in a bowl. Whisk the egg whites till they’re stiff in the other bowl.

Step three:
Mix the cacao-sugar mixture together with the egg whites. Try not to beat out too much air, because you want your princesses to be fluffy!

Step four:
Use your spoons (or piping bag. You princesses will be prettier when you use a piping bag.) to make little heaps of the mixture on your baking tray.

Step five: 
Bake your princesses for 25 to 30 minutes. When they’re done, slightly open the oven door and let your princesses dry for a little while longer.
